Get out of the building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you want to solve a problem, you can sit back and guess what\u2019s going on &#8212; or you can get up and go where the action is happening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> This concept has many names:  \u2018Get out of the building\u2019 in Lean Startup parlance, or \u2018Gemba\u2019 in Lean circles.  It can be tempting to stick with what we think is going on.  Gemba invites us to go find out for sure \u2013 even when it\u2019s cold out or we\u2019d prefer not to interact with the messiness of a problem. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>  When you go check it out, you get additional context, updated info &#8212; even feedback on potential solutions.  Try it!
